BRCA 1/12th Scale

1/12th scale racing at the moment consists of 2 chassis types. The LMP12 class is the base class that has been run for many years and is still the foremost class in many experienced racer’s minds. The newer class or GT12 cars were developed as a lower cost, simpler chassis  with much reduced specification. It was introduced as an entry level class to 1/12th scale racing. It has developed some way from that original idea while still sticking to the idea of lower cost racing.

The LMP12 class is based on a so-called “pan-car” chassis, a flat sheet of material (now usually carbon fibre) from which is hung the front suspension and the rear motor/ axle assemby.

When there is a national event on, live timing can be found, hopefully if the internet is working, at the following sites.

Between meetings, the provisional heat listings will be posted after entries close. They may continue to be amended until the racing starts.
